It does not really matter where a wedding takes place. In the backyard of a small house in a village somewhere in the mountains of Trikala or in an ultra-luxurious villa in Mykonos. There are similar elements everywhere. The preparation, the ceremony, the party, cake, first dance, speeches. And generally variations of these.
The real atmosphere is created by each couple's personalities and their special relationship with families and friends.
There is a wealth of imagery that springs from the individual nature of each person. This is something that inspires a documentary filmmaker.
